TWAHT Hockey in the News

Boys, our quiet, old school hockey night has gone mainstream. We are proudly the only hockey club in America that can claim to be in the newspaper for 2 consecutive months ( and not in the sports section). First, a fringe player gets busted selling drugs, gonna do time. Then, our MENSA goaltender locks a frigin cat in his car and plays hockey all night. Brilliant. Whats next? Any thoughts on what we may find in September????

"Joe McBride named Head Coach of NY Islanders"....McBride plays a 5 left wing system, with no defenseman to speak of. "I like scoring 15-20 goals per game from the left side, defense is overrated." He named Bill Derosa strength and conditioning coach. "All players need to be able to smoke a pack a day and down a six of Guinness prior to camp opening." He also named Mike Beccaria Asst Coach. "He has no hockey skills at all", says McBride, "I just like the free food."
